Shai Weil, M.B.A.
Executive Vice President
Mr. Shai Weil served as President of Alydar Pharmaceuticals until April 2001 and is currently its Executive Vice President. Mr. Weil also serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy of Medison Biotech, which has funded Alydar’s operations since its founding.
Mr. Weil served as Medison Pharma’s Vice President of Operations from 1997 to 1999. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Instinct Software (currently Clearforest), and was responsible for negotiations with major customers, such as Ford, GM, P&G, and Kodak. Mr. Weil is a member of the board of directors of several healthcare companies, including Instinct, Ranitech, Imadent, Chi-Light, Bio-Control, Interhome Communications and Medison Tech, and is also a member at the investment committee of Spring, an Israeli venture capital firm focused on seed investments.
Mr. Weil received his B.A. in business administration and economics from Bar Ilan University in Israel and his M.B.A. from Boston University.
