SLIL BIOMEDICAL ADDS GEORGE WILDING TO ITS SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD

MADISON, Wisconsin - July 31, 2000--SLIL Biomedical Corp. announced the addition of George Wilding, M.D. to its Scientific Advisory Board.

Dr. Wilding, a leading expert in prostate cancer, is Professor and Head of the Medical Oncology Section of the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison-(UW). In addition, he serves as the Associate Director for Clinical Programs, Director of the Experimental Therapeutics Program and the Co-Director of the Genitourinary Cancer Program at the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Wilding also serves as Chair of the Genitourinary Cancer Committee for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. Dr. Wilding is on the advisory board of a number of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Wilding earned his M.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, a M.S. in Pharmacology from Pennsylvania State University, and a B.S. in both Chemical Engineering and Biology from Tufts University.
