Brian G. Herndier, Ph.D., M.D. Dr. Herndier is the Assistant Director of Laboratory Hematology at the San Francisco General Hospital and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of California San Francisco Medical School. He is the co-discoverer of the Sequential Pathogenesis model. Dr. Herndier’s primary research interests are AIDS-related cancers. His efforts have resulted in over 54 publications in this area. Dr. Herndier earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology and his M.D. at the University of Miami.
