Dennis D. Taub, Ph.D.

Dr. Taub is a recognized expert in the field of Immunology and in the study of the various mechanisms involved in inflammation and cellular trafficking. He has participated in and established regimented clinical monitoring protocols for numerous clinical vaccine trials and interventional studies within cancer and elderly subjects. Dr. Taub is currently the Chief (Acting), Laboratory of Immunology and the Chief, Clinical Immunology Section of the National Institute on Aging (NIA). In addition, he serves as the Director, Clinical Core Laboratory and Chief, Central Laboratory Service Section of the NIA. Dr. Taub earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at Temple University School of Medicine and B.S. in Microbiology and Medical Technology from Pennsylvania State University.
