Michael S. McGrath, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. McGrath is a co-founder of SLIL and a director. Dr. McGrath is an expert in the field of AIDS-related lymphomagenesis and is the co-discoverer of the Sequential Pathogenesis model. As Director of the AIDS Immunobiology Research Laboratory at the San Francisco General Hospital, and as Professor of the Departments of Laboratory Medicine, Medicine and Pathology at UCSF, his research efforts have lead to the publication of over 62 cancer-related research manuscripts, as well as 38 additional articles and chapters in books. Dr. McGrath has served as a scientific consultant for Genelabs Technologies and is the Chief Scientific Advisor for Oxo Chemie, a biotechnology company. Dr. McGrath received his M.D., Ph.D. and served as a postdoctoral fellow in Cancer Biology at Stanford University.
