Donald’s WW II Photos

Donald Krasno was a United States Army Air Force (USAAF) corporal who served in the 5th Photo Reconnaissance Group, 4th Photo Squadron in Italy from April 1944 to September 1945. He was a Photo Lab Technician in a unit that supported the Allied air offensive in Europe, Rome, Arno, Northern & Southern France, Rhineland, North Apennines, Po Valley, and the Balkans. He was stationed at Torre dei Giunchi and Triolo Airfields near San Severo, Italy. He took most of the photos with his beloved Rolleicord camera.
